Northland College Services Academy

This post gives information about the Northland College Services Academy for future students.

AIM OF THE COURSE:
The aim of this academy is to provide an opportunity for the students to push individual boundaries, find new physical and mental limits, to encourage teamwork, discipline, and competitiveness and to develop Confident, Self-Initiating, Motivated, Physically Fit Potential Leaders and Role Models. 

COURSE EXPECTATIONS:
Students are expected to undertake and participate fully in the entire teaching and learning program, maintaining a good attendance at school. All students must undertake all internal assessments and external training courses offered through the New Zealand Defence Force.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The Services Academy programme has been established at Northland College with the support of The Ministry of Education and the New Zealand Defence Force.  The Academy’s role is to identify, support and up-skill 20 senior students, and to ensure that they have the best possible start in their career or future study with our guidance and mentoring.
